Paragard Allwormer is a broad-spectrum chewable tablet that treats Roundworm, Hookworm, Whipworm and Tapeworm (including hydatids) in dogs.
Dosage & Administration
Small Dogs (up to 5 kg): 1 tablet per 5 kg of body weight.
Medium Dogs (up to 10 kg): 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight.
Large Dogs (up to 20 kg): 1 tablet per 20 kg of body weight.
Tablets are liver-flavored and can be given directly as a treat or crushed and hidden in food. Fasting is not required prior to dosing.
Treatment Schedule
Puppies: Treat at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks of age, then monthly until 6 months old.
Adult Dogs: Treat routinely every 3 months.
High-Risk Areas: In environments with heavy whipworm or hydatid tapeworm infestations, dose every 6 weeks after 3 months of age. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Note: Paragard is an intestinal wormer and does not prevent heartworm.
